OLP Week5: Museum Multiverse Collab Art Blog: Plan, Layout, Build Part 4 (Building the First Museum Scene)
This weeks major focus was used to build the next scene in which the player will enter the Museum after escaping from the warehouse scene. Within this scene I wanted to populate the area with a mixture of paintings and modernized sculptures to add to the environment. Within this area the player is suppose solve a puzzle in order to advance. I need to get more details from Hess to see what additional ideas he has in mind before moving forward with this scene. This scene is completed build wise for the most part. It may need a few things added for game play mechanics when brought into Unity. With this said, my next weeks objective will be to add and finalized geometry for game play and complete texturing for this scene to have it sent of into Unity. If there is additional time I will begin build the next scene to more forward in the development process. Till next time :)
Additional note: We are still in the process of finding a guy that will be doing the character work for us. So far Hess and I only have two leads. Currently we are trying to see how much they can do within the time allotted as well how much they want to be compensated for the their work. More info on that to come.
